Hi, I'm Jasmine.

I am based in Orange County, New York, where my husband and I raised our two daughters. As a mother, an entrepreneur, and someone who spent years juggling a demanding full-time career alongside a bustling household, I know exactly what it feels like to run on a tight schedule. When I do find a rare moment of free time, you can usually find me out exploring our beautiful local Hudson Valley wineries or trying out new farm-to-table restaurants in our community with my husband of 29 years.

Your Sounding Board (YSB) started in the middle of the pandemic. Like so many of us during that time, I was reflecting on what I wanted next. Owning my own business had always been my quiet goal, and having a little extra time on my hands gave me the window to finally make it happen.

My original plan was to build a consulting practice. But as I was working on getting my New York notary commission to lay the groundwork, something clicked. I realized there was a massive, frustrating gap in how everyday business tasks get done.

I remembered what my life looked like when my girls were younger—constantly balancing a family while working a demanding, full-time job. It felt like there was never enough time. I vividly remember the stress of having to carve out time during a quick lunch break or leave work early just to track down a notary before they closed.

If you are a busy mom or dad trying to balance family, work and other responsibilities, a local business owner trying to run a business with zero downtime, or a professional executive managing tight contract deadlines, you know exactly what I’m talking about. The traditional nine-to-five schedule just doesn't work for real life.

I wanted to build something for people like us.

So, I started offering mobile notary services on a schedule that actually makes sense. I intentionally open up my hours to evenings, weekends, and holidays, because that’s when life actually happens.

When New York State finally approved Remote Online Notarization (RON), I immediately jumped on it. Being able to secure a document virtually was the ultimate way to bring peace of mind and extra hours back to my busy, hard-working neighbors.

Today, YSB is growing exactly the way I envisioned. By bringing notary services to my community whether we are sealing a critical contract over a secure screen or sitting at your kitchen table getting things done.
